Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM): setup, interpretation of glucose trends, alert and alarm settings, sensor insertion and troubleshooting
Insulin pumps: device selection, basal and bolus setup, site rotation, pump troubleshooting and infusion set education
Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) systems: system overview, algorithm behaviour, meal and exercise strategies, safety checks and manual override training
Smart pens: dose logging, titration guidance, integration with apps and data review for insulin adjustments

Diabetes Nurse Practitioner
Our Diabetes Nurse Practitioner delivers advanced, individualised care for all diabetes types:
Specialist assessment to identify needs and optimise management
Medication prescribing and adjustment for safe, effective glucose control
Personalised education for self-management, goals and confidence
Prescribes and initiates insulin pumps and automated insulin delivery systems
Coordinates multidisciplinary care with endocrinologists, dietitians and other clinicians
Education
Daycare and School Diabetes Training
We provide theoretical and practical, up-to-date diabetes training for childcare centres, kindergartens, schools and other care settings, Training is tailored to your setting and covers day-to-day diabetes management, recognising and treating hypoglycaemia and hyperglycaemia, insulin administration, diabetes technology (CGM and insulin pumps), and building staff confidence to safely support children living with diabetes.
Sessions are delivered on-site across Brisbane and are designed to align with individual care plans.
